Alex's first visit home in a year. So lovely to see and spend time with his family and friends and so hard to say goodbye once more before round two. Our visit in Cleveland was one full of dragging a 14-year-old to live shows, exploring Amish country and playing music in the basement.

New York, United States 05.10.15 - 01.11.15 and 11.11.15 - 04.12.15

Alex needed a little dose of english-speakers and familiar cultures, so we lived in Brooklyn for around two months. Perfect timing as we got the NYC Halloween experience, thanksgiving with the family AND the christmas displays!

Cleveland, US 01.11.15 -11.11.15

We were lucky enough to get to spend almost two weeks with Alex's lovely family, plus we made it up to CLE for thanksgiving as well. It was my first real thanksgiving - now I understand why people love thanksgiving food so much!
